KANT TSP HAS COMPLETED THE PREPARATION STAGE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW PRODUCTION LINE IN SOUTHERN KYRGYZSTAN.
On February 21 in the city of Kyzyl-Kiye, Batken region, the official ceremony of a laying of the symbolic "time capsule" in the foundation of the future slate production plant was held.
Construction of the plant is planned to be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2019. More than 3 million slate sheets per year will be produced by the new line and 130 new jobs will be created for the region. The launch of the line will make the slate more accessible for people in the southern region of Kyrgyzstan, as well as to export products to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
The event was attended by the shareholder Tanvir Aftab, Director General of Kant TSP LLC Sanzhar Kaparov, Government Envoy in Batken region Abish Halmurzaev, Mayor of Kyzyl Kia city Ermekbai Topchubayev and aksakals of the city.
